Brandon Lake was born in Dallas Texas while his father was attending Dallas Theological Seminary. His family moved to Myrtle Beach, SC area where they spent the next 14 years, seven years a Pawleys Island Community Church and then seven years at Carolina Forest Community Church. It was at age 13 at CFCC Brandon picked up the guitar, within a few months he was helping lead at his Middle School worship band. In 2004 Brandon’s family moved to Mt. Pleasant SC for his father to take a Leadership Development position at Seacoast Church. It was there Brandon’s passion for leading worship really began to grow. During his 4 years at Seacoast he lead at Nitro (middle school ministry), Groundswell (High School Ministry), Unfiltered (College Ministry) and helped lead on occasion in the Main auditorum. Brandon has traveled and lead worship at several churches over the past two years increasing his passion and desire to lead people into the presence of God through worship. Upon graduating from Wondo High School in 2008, Brandon moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to attend Oceans Edge School of worship, a one year training program at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. . In June of 2009 he graduated from the Oceans Edge and now resides in Mt Pleasant, SC where he volunteers on the Seacoast Worship Team. You can follow Brandon on Twitter www.twitter.com/brandonlake.
