Love the idea of the church merger as a growing multi-site strategy. I have seen it work miraculously here at our campus. In the 5 years leading up to merger, attendance was declining, few baptisms, and no leadership culture. Since becoming a campus of Seacoast we have seen huge numbers of commitments or re-commitments, baptisms, and leaders birthed out of our community. We are now a healthy, vibrant life giving part of our community. I hope that this idea grows and we stop shutting the doors of declining churches.
