Leadership Development increases the number of influencers in your organization.

  • Well developed leaders take initiative.  We need more of that.
  • Well developed leaders spread positive attitude .  We need more of that.
  • Well developed leaders model the life and leadership of Christ.  We need more of that.
  • Well developed leaders own the vision. We need more of that.
  • Well developed leaders operate in their strengths.  We need more of that.
  • Well developed leaders enlist and empower others.  We need more of that.
  • We developed leaders reproduce themselves.  We need more of that.

More influencers equals more impact.  We need more of that.

  1. Very good list. I like the ‘development’ angle here in particular. Most readers are probably used to seeing: ‘strong leaders…’ or ‘great leaders…’ but here it’s “well developed leaders…’ This emphasizes that these great leaders don’t pop out of the ground one day fully formed. Very few, like an old poloroid, seem to develop naturally without any outside force acting on them, but even they, like poloroids, show the fruit of a system or environment that is conducive to their development.

  2. Well said. Makes me think of a quote from Erwin McManus that I love. “The world doesn’t need better leaders, the world needs better people who lead.” <– We need more of that too! : )
